Hi
I would love some help in ID'ing this ray, I know it should be easy but they all seem so similar to me :P

It looks like Himantura granulata to me.

I am not good with Stingrays except for a few, but that looks different.

In Ted's shot the snout appears more pointed, the body not as spotted and the white in the tail is not as pronounced (kind of hard to tell since the shots are on different angles :D) plus fishbase does not place this one in the Red Sea.

All I know for sure it is not a Manta Ray or an Eagle Ray :P
