I have a INON UCL-165 for my G9 / Ikelite housing. 'Dry' and on max zoom (long port installed) the UCL-165 focuses between 10 - 13 cms with an image size of approx 2.25 cms width. How would I expect the UCL-330 to compare?
INON UCL-165 v UCL-330 comparision info please

The 165 has a shorter focal length (by 2x) so is a stronger diopter. If the camera works between 10 and 13 cms at max zoom w/ the 165 it should be twice that with the 330, right?

Thank you James, your explanation is very clear. The UCL-330 will no doubt allow me the increased 'stand off' I require.
