Congrats to the 2007 HUPS Award Winners:

Member of the Year:
Ken Knezick

Photographers of the Year:
Novice: Tom Collier
Advanced: Jackie Reid



The awards were presented at the TGCC banquet (Texas Gulf Coast Council of Dive Clubs), where all the local dive clubs presented their annual awards. Clubs represented were HUPS, HUC, CHUM, and BAD. I took photos of most of all the awards presented by each club. Should you other guys and gals want copies - send me an email.

Contgrats to Tom, Jackie, and Ken! These awards are well deserved.

The photographer of the year awards are given to the individual that accumulates the highest point total in their category of the monthly HUPS Photo Contests. Winners have to display a high caliber of work every month in a variety of topics to take the yearly award. The key to these wins is consistency and high quality of image submitted for the competitions.

The Member of the Year award goes to the HUPS member that the general membership feels has made exceptional contributions to the club, and sometimes to the diving and photo community locally and beyond. They're all avid divers and darn good photographers as well.

Congratulations again guys from HUPS's southernmost and easternmost active member!
