Since it was far too windy to dive (see other thread in Calabasas with the crushed car!)

I went out to take some photographs of the green hills before they all turn brown for summer, but I wasn't feeling it. Drove down PCH on the way home and saw these guys surfing.

Apologies that the shots are not up to professional standards (and the water was kind of an ugly green/brown color)

It was really tough for me to nail focus on these shots, so that's something I will definitely work on for next time.

Nice photos.

I might make it down to Malibu today as well...especially since the fires are over, and of course before the mudslides begin!

nice job Nick, I was taking photos in malibu at the same time you were, but I was near topango looking for birds.. it was my first outing with my D300...

Thanks for the kind comments everyone.

I did get some birds too, but wow -- the focus is really hard to nail with those gulls!
