I bought one of these:

... because I got a very good price on it. But I don't think that it supports RAW files from my digital SLR. Does anyone out there want to buy it? I may just end up ebaying the thing.

Alright... so the lure of ebay caught me.

What can I say? I enjoy selling things on ebay. :P

You might try the FlashTrax, if you can find one. I think it will store RAW images, depending on the camera.

Well, this reply may have come too late. The Jukebox 20 does copy raw files. You have to change one of the configuration settings to have it "see" all files, but it does work and the download from the CP reader is very fast.

Excuse me. How did you update the firmware? Every time I've tried to do this I get nowhere. TedJ

Just copy the firmware to the device's root directory, and select "Update firmware" in the Archos settings...

So you can view the Canon Raw files with the Archos? How long does it take to review a picture?

"View" with this unit is a relative term as the screen is actually a bit smaller than the lcd on my Oly 5050. But you can, of course, hook it up to a TV while in the field, which is what I generally do each evening. AS to viewing raw, I'm going to give it a shot but it'll be with the Oly.

I dont think you can view raw files. But you can copy them. :P large 11 megapixel jpgs take forever to preview.
