Which S&S port can fit Tokina 12-24?
It's not listed on S&S charts.

I would assume its the same port/extenstion combo that S&S recommends for the nikon 12-24, but that's assuming they have a similar "nodal point".

S&S recommends the fisheye dome port.

if not, you might have to add a 20mm extension ring. either way, I'd take shots with and without the 20mm ring (in the fisheye dome port) and see which gives better corner sharpness.

remember, with wide-angle lenses, its not just a matter of fitting, its getting the right extension (or no extension) to optimize corner sharpness.

do a search on nodal point for more info on this.

hope this helps

Hi,

I use the Fisheye Domeport with the extension ring 40 and it works perfect.

Yes, the fisheye dome port plus the extension ring works just fine. You'll have to modify another gear to make it work. What I did was find one with a larger diameter and shim the inside with padded packing tape to reduce the diameter. I used a Canon 100mm ring and it required several layers of tape. You might be able to find one a little closer to start with.
