Hi, guys I found that this question was largely but not completely discuss in the previous topic I’m looking for a Moisture Alarm, I’m looking for an audible and visible one here is a summary of what I found but for different reasons they are not really what I’m looking for:

1- http://www.uwleakdetector.com/ only visible. It sound good but it doesn’t fit my Sea&Sea dx-d70 housing I asked this to the dealer.

2- http://www.marinecam...20detector.html only visible. It is perfect for my Sea&Sea dx-d70 housing but it is only visible.

3- http://www.bhphotovi...arm_for_UW.html I don’t know maybe only visible and I don’t know if it can fit my Sea&Sea dx-d70 housing, no way to have an answer from B&H.

4- http://images-underw...sture Alarm.htm only audible. GREAT for me BUT no answer from the dealer, quite sure they are out of business, it can fit my Sea&Sea dx-d70 housing.

5- http://www.guernseyb...re_detector.htm only visible. It can fit my Sea&Sea dx-d70 housing. BUT UNFORTUNATELY I don’t know anything about how to build this thing but it looks great.

6- http://www.mitedu.fr...larm/walarm.htm only audible. It can fit my Sea&Sea dx-d70 housing. BUT UNFORTUNATELY same as above.

7- http://chris.peter.f...dex.php?lang=en Visible and audible. It sound Great but maybe to big for my housing and I don’t know anything about how to build this thing but it looks better than the others.

So I’m in trouble because I need an “audible Moisture Alarm” and I don’t know where to find it. Hope it helps. And just in case any advice to my wondering???

This is moisture alarm # 20023 from Aquatica, it is visual as well as audible, it comes with velcro mounting, is fairly small and can be tucked away in very narrow area, it as generous lenght of probes wires and LED wire and uses a common easy to find button battery.

It should be no problem fitting this into a Sea & Sea, we also have a moisture alarm version available at 3500.00 USD it comes with a housing, ports etc.

I have previously contacted, or more correctly, tried to contact yourself and Aquatica about moisture alarms and hot-shoe connecters etc... I have tried this via PM's and company emails. Does Aquatica deal directly or through 'outlets'? Any response at this stage would be better than the 'ones' that never arrive!
Sorry Alessio, but I have been down this path personally and so far have received "less than satisfactory" replies...

Allessio - you can get a alarm that fits your needs from any Aquatica dealer - Your profile doesn't say were you are located so best advice is find one that is closest to you.

Let me answer this for you.
Aquatica provides technical support via a network of authorised dealers and their own service desk which is manned by Jean.
All sales are done via the dealer network.
In your case you can contact me directly as I am the distributor for Australia.
Have I overlooked a question regarding moisture alarms in our previous communications ?

Sorry about that Bruce, that one must have slipped by, (usualy i'm on top of theses ) as Peter states, we rely on a network of dealers for sales and will do services and repairs on our equipments if no authorized dealer/service center is in your area. We strongly recommend using the local network whenever possible, it makes life easier for you the customer in the end (as a couple of Aussies recently can attest to).

If you don't mind forwarding me (or Peter) your request, i'll see to it that wheels are put in motion so that you get the items requested, as some of them seem to be parts, I would contact Peter first, most likely he would have those in inventory already.

Hi guy thank you for the information the problem with the Aquatica alarm was that I read somewhere that they used to do it with an acoustic alarm and a visible alarm at the same time but they at the moment do this alarm only visible.

By the way I live in Italy but buying things from abroad is a must, even because in Italy the dealers used to not have so many things in stock or anyway they used to overcharge...
