[Lionfish43]

I've been working in Atlanta for the past week so I decided to check out the Georgia Aquarium on Sunday. Although I have mixed feelings about aquariums in general I was blown away by the scope of this one. Here are a few images.

Did you take these photos recently? I heard their whale shark died. Maybe they got a second one.

I took the photos this past Sunday. The whale sharks seem to be doing OK, they had three of them.

Whether one likes or dislikes aquariums, the GEORGIA AQUARIUM is phenomenal I don't particularly like Atlanta, but I would return just to visit this aquarium again!

I work at the Melbourne Aquarium which is the largest in Australia.

Looking at the photo of the whale shark just made me drool

I must admit I disagree with keeping them in captivity, their sustainability in captivity must come into question at some point?

The Georgia Aquarium as a bit of a mixed rep. Its often labeled as one of the best in the world, but also as one of the worst for animal survival rates........
