On a recent holiday I took my D200 and 10.5 mm fisheye for a swim. I have a lot to learn about this style of photography, but i was somewhat happy with my first offering.

Very nice Stephen, 2&3 are my favorites.
Nikon D800, Nikon D7000, Nauticam, Inons, Subtronic Novas. Lens collection - 10-17, 15, 16, 16-35, 14-24, 24-70, 85, 18-200, 28-300, 70-200, 60 and 105, TC's. Macs with Aperture and Photoshop.

2&3 also.
Question: What was your success rate ?
I mean, to get these four did you toss another 5, 10, 50 images into the round trash container ?
These look pretty clear of any water on the dome etc.
Interested as I have some windsurfer friends who want some pictures - they are just having a hard time convincing me that I won't end up in A&E at the local hospital (as they seem to spend considerable time there themselves).

Paul, my success rate was low
but the waves were not great. About 1 shot in 20 was usuable. The water on the dome issue was easy to master after i learned about the spit technique (i did some research in this forum).
The only other thing i would suggest from a safety point of view is to make sure you have decent surf flippers on when you go out in the water (cameras are heavy), and a lanyard to tether the housing to your wrist in case of emergency release!

4 is my fave .. followed by 2 like you say would be amazing if it was perfect.

I have been watching my waves here recently and am thinking about trying it out myself soon.
