Awesome

I especially like the Nudi in the "We keep the secrets of nature" shot

One day I will be this good (Yeah ...likely...Not)

Cheers

I am always interested in what lens captured the pictures... the ray, which looks like an airplane (I think it looks like an airplane whether sideways or not!), was that done with the fisheye or with a zoom? I'm trying to figure out what kind of animal pictures I can expect with the 10-17.

thank you everyone.

Hi David,

thank you.

I took all underwater w/a photos with Tokina10-17mm zoom fisheye during the whole trip! that's a great lens for underwater/land. I have already sold out Nikkor 10.5mm fisheye!

Manta shot was taken by 14mm side. the viz. is not good, i still had to keep closer to this big subject !

cheers, :)

Hi Jenny,

Great photos again. I agree about the viz - was the water really that green???? Ouch! I haven't been there but hope to one day.

thank you James! the water in the south islands (misool) is green because the rain fall.
In the north area ( Mike point, sardines) the viz. can be around 30m. that's good for w/a.

May is the late season for raja ampat. November to April will be much better.... :)

thank you TheRealDrew!

cheers,

Usually if the north has poor viz the south should be good and vice versa!
There are a few areas where viz is nearly always very poor and some where viz can be excellent, depends on moon phases and the likes really!
