Everyone, if you have any problems still, force-reload every page. Some things may be caching, especially javascript and css. SHIFT-reload should do it.

Steve, after a LONG battle with IE, css and html we figured out a way around that fly-out problem. Web design is such a cross-browser disaster. Is it ok now?

One new suggestion: do the forums really need every link underlined? They didn't used to be, I don't think, but I could be wrong because the new font is a bit bolder.

I've changed them back to the old style.

Just an fyi ... drop down menus for user names by side of posts is working for me now.
I tried clearing everything cache wise.. didn't work .. so i ended up disabling a few plugins on my end for FF3 .. it seems to have worked, it has also solved some other problems i was having ... so no need to take notice of my problems !


BTW I am loving the new Acronym things !

Sam -- the upload interface has changed. Look at the "Attachment Editor" below the post textarea, and you'll see a place to browse and upload. It's easy to miss.

Is this what you are referring to?

My pc w/ XP SP2 did not show 'attachment editor' earlier. I updated to Win XP SP3 & showing me now. Thanks.

I think a lot of these issues are due to caching. Be sure to force reload once on the new system! (hold down SHIFT and click reload on your browser)

Anyway, I'm glad that we've fixed everything that's been reported. Keep 'em coming.

By the way, the forum RSS feed URL has changed. To get the new URL, scroll to the bottom of the Wetpixel screen and look for "RSS Forum Feed".

FYI, we're keeping a list of things we've added in the first post of this thread.

for those of you who are too lazy to go back to the first post, here a list of changes that affect you, as of now.

* Lite skin for Team Wetpixel members. You can turn it on at the bottom of the forum pages.
* lots of new emoticons
* Forum RSS has changed, check the RSS icon on the bottom of the forum pages.
* You can upload larger avatars. Max size is 158x80.
* Turn on a country flag that's visible under your location field. Edit your country in your profile.

I just added another small feature. If you have added your position on the map, your location field in the topic view becomes clickable, which will bring you to the map position of that wetpixel member.

Hey, y'all. We just set the system to inline your attached images at full size (!). Please don't abuse this, or we will have to change it back to thumbnailed attachments.

Another bug I noticed, or is it a security ability?
When I change my laptop location I have to login again, its quit annoying since I do it few times a day so every time I want to enter WP I have to login.

Arnon - we've fixed the issue. Previously, we were forcing you to stay on the same ip address for each session. Can you give it a try now?
