An absolutely awful day of weather, resulted in me chilling in a beach villa at Kandooma resort with a friend having a few beers. It was pissing it down outside, but the break was pumping with great off shore wind. Suddenly a gap in the clouds allowed enough light through to create this rainbow backdrop!

The little kid on the wave was only 13 yrs old!!!!

lovely shot. i have been to the maldives a few times and will be there again in january and i have never seen more than a ripple in the water from the shore.

Nice shots! I don't think that surfer would be complaining about the conditions too much, that's an impressive break!
