Couple of macro shots taken with my Oly C3040. Your critique is highly appreciated.

Hey Laz, Great job on the exposure of the ray and white sand. I find it hard to keep from over exposing the white sand on shots like that.

How close were you to your subjects and what was your lighting?

Hey Laz,
those macros are extraordinary impressive ...
Which part of the world have you been therefore? Please tell me also what kind of strobes you are using.
Cheers
Matt

To answer the questions (sorry guys..missed these posts). All these shots were taken in Key Largo, FL. Used two YS90-DX's. And that third shot was a Scorpionfish.

Here are a couple of macro shots I got up in Canada last month. The crab was about the size of a finger nail and the other is a close up of a sun star.

Feel free to comment and offer any suggestions as this was my first time taking pics underwater.

Hi, I'm not real sure about the rules on here. Should I have started a diffrent post? I saw a couple of people had put up pics so I added some, then I noticed it was the same person. Let me know if I'm breaking any rules....:)

Hmm - The topic "Macro Fun" is ok to post your pictures, but IMHO they are beautiful and deserve their own post.
