I just read about a new website that is trying to search for image use across the web using pixel pattern recognition. It's still a beta product and the search index is being built, but it might be a way for photographers to easily find people using their images without permission as the product gets refined and the search catalogue grows.

My one search did not reveal even my own use of an image, but it's early days.
Might be one to watch in the future.

Wow, that is so cool. Works as advertised. Use an image that you KNOW is copied, like Eric's turtle..
