It looks like the Japanese are really upping their pressure tactics on Sea Shepherd. It's not enough that they already tried to assassinate Paul Watson earlier this year down in Antarctica.

Didn't they try the "secret meeting" in March as well? And that failed to resolve anything, either pro or anti-whaling. I think with the economic downturn, conservation issues will take a back seat to many other more "pressing" issues.
Assassinate is a pretty strong word since there was no evidence submitted to any authorities. I must say their video editing and acting was pretty good though.
