Do any of you guys/girls have august edition of Diver. I had a shot published but for some unknown reason didnt get the issue and would love it if someone could scan it and post it for me. The image was of a killer whale with a shark in its mouth, taken at Cocos.

Cheers in advance, Stew

Congrats Stew sounds like an amzing shot.

Have you tried dropping a note or otherwise getting in contact with Diver? That would probably be the best bet since I would guess they have extra issues/back issues for sale or provide you with a copy or two.

I take it the Sod's Law is similar to Murphy's Law... :)

Since it is a published photo, and it will probably be cool to have at least one copy in print, perhaps have a friend order it for you and bribe them with a :) The magazine probably will not notice if you order, but if it is a concern, the good old standby of the dog ate it, someone (other than yourself) spilled coffee on it/threw it out or a host of other options are available. In the long run you will be happy having the copy and the minor ramifications of Sod's Law would be soon forgotten. ;)

Stew does this mean you don't need a copy of the mag?

BTW Kudos to you for the shot and story :)

obviously i didnt want to get too close ( and i couldnt swim fast enough ) to check it out but it happend right next to silverado and the next time we dived there, there was one silvertip missing from the group that we had seen a couple of days before.. one of them was also missing a large part of its dorsal fin.
