FEATURED PRESENTER: Mike Boom - Video How To's and Fiji on the liveaboard, the Nai'a.

Biography:
Mike Boom is an award winning underwater videographer who's been shooting in the Monterey Bay area, the Solomon Islands, Indonesia, Belize, Hawaii and Alaska, among other locations. He's won numerous video competitions and has been featured in underwater film exhibitions in various venues around the world. He's written about underwater video for Scuba Diving magazine and helped design underwater control systems for Undersea Video Housings. He recently worked for four months as the underwater video pro for the live-aboard dive ship Nai'a in Fiji.

Mike will show recent footage from his work in Fiji and will discuss how to make trip videos: what to shoot, how to structure the video, how to edit in the field, how to cut to music, how to author a DVD and how to deal with equipment malfunctions when you're far from electronics and repair stores.
