I manufactured an S-shaped custom curve and uploaded it. That is a simple way of approximating the appearance of transparencies. I'm not sure how to achieve a differential colour balance in the camera, except by performing a manual white balance under appropriate illumination, and storing that as a preset white balance. You would want to do it under straw-coloured illumination to approach the Velvia effect.

Hello Tim,
you uploaded it? where can i find it?
thx

I think you look for this:
http://www.neebu.net...NIKON/CUSTOMPC/
Download the file to your computer
Format the card in the camera
Go to - SHOOTING MENU , Manage Picture Control, Load/Save, Copy to Card, OK
Turn camera off, Take card out of camera and put into computer card reader
Navigate to Nikon, CUSTOMPC
Copy the file to the card (copy/paste - overwrite=yes)
Put the card back into the camera
SHOOTING MENU, Manage Picture Control, Load/Save, Copy to camera
OK to each file
Happy Shooting
Best regards,

I made it, it's not too difficult: you can design a tone curve in Photoshop, then reproduce it in the Nikon program, then upload it into camera memory. I don't know where to find a pre-written curve, as I've never looked for one...... you uploaded it? where can i find it?
