We just got back from a short trip to Portofino (Italy), mediterranean sea. As a beginning UW photographer, it was my first real opportunity to try the C3040Z in its PT-010 housing, internal flash only.
Overall conditions -surge and visibility- were not favourable, so I focused on macro shots. A few pictures were taken with the Inon close-up lens.
Let me know what you think.

Thanks. I had only three dives for taking pictures, the others were either too deep or too difficult because of weather conditions.
Most of the pictures of the first dive were bad because I set the camera to P-mode (automatic) with flash forced on. The camera defaulted to ISO400, f10, 1/30s which resulted in blurred, low-contrast pictures.
For the other dives I chose full manual settings, tested for proper exposure at the start of the dive. Most of the time I used forced ISO100, flash on, exposure between 1/80s and 1/125s, aperture between F2.6-F4. I did not touch the white balance.

Well done !
Nice Nudis and another demonstration that the macro mode works very well.
What a pitty that P5123281.JPG wasn't taken in portrait mode.
