Congratulations to all the winners (Wetpixelers and others)! Well deserved.

Actually - the entry pool was outstanding. It's great to see so many images setting the bar so high.

I am sending this from the show floor in Chicago at Our World Underwater. The images were very well received. I presented a slideshow at the film festival Friday of the stills and Sat of the video winners. These will be updated on the UnderwaterCompetition.com site this week, as well as the actual video winners. Running around the show and doing all of the presentations, with a tempermental laptop, has been a handful otherwise the videos would be up already.

Time to pack up the show and head back home. Great competition!

Some really great images. I would be interested to know how the winning image was done. I assume as it was wide angle unrestricted, some manipulation was done. It does have an HDR appearance, and it would be interesting to know if this was just 'normal' PS enhancement / tweaking or an HDR technique was used.
If HDR was used, this would be a first I imagine as an underwater photo winner.
