I have an Ikelite housing and the superdome 8".
On ikelite port chart, Sigma fisheye seems to doesn't work. A lot of vigneting.
Maybe the Nikkor 16, but is it as good as the Nikor 10.5 on a DX?
thank you.

Are you talking about the Sigma 15 FE?

Yes, but i don't have the sigma. I've read it on Ikelite Nikon Port chart.
I think its the same sigma FE in Mustard's review.

That is weird. The Sigma seems not to vignette with Canon full frames. I really have no idea why that would be different for a Nikon full frame.

A friend of mine bought an Ikelite house for his new D700. He had already houses for the D100 and D200. He also bought the 15 mm Sigma and sold his 10,5. He was surprised to have considerable vigneting with the 8inch dome. He complained trough his dealer to Ikelite. The solution from Ikelite was that they shall mention it on the portlist in the future
LOL!
That is why I bought an Aquatica house. No problems with vigneting. Not even with the 6 inch dome.

Finally I buy the 5503.
5503, doesn't solve the problem, massive vignetting even with the dome shade removed.
With the 8" (5510.45 + 5510.10), it's...work with the dome shade!
Ike D700, 8" dome (5510.45 + 5510.10), sigma FE 15mm F/2.8 EX :
(F/5.6, 1/60, 200iso)
Except the top right corner, wich is black. (the dome shade!)

Crop 100%

Sometime there is no black corner, it depend of the focus distance.
Not a big issue! Maybe with an another dome shade?

You could file the dome shade down a bit? Or clone it out in Lightroom/Photoshop. In Lightroom you could do it once and then apply it to all RAW files from that dive.
