:P

This is the same "newspaper" that's usually only interested in "man-eating" killer sharks, and featured a "great white" basking shark a couple of years ago...

... "Sardine Supper" is a bit anodyne for the Sun, so I suggest that their image is spiced up with a better headline!

I dont read it myself, I am more of a Sport man. The Sun usually has the stories they print so wrong I would not trust it even for the TV page.

one of the lads on site see it and showed it to me as he knows I am into UW photography.

All the best, Stew

As soon as I was shown it I knew whos they were, the article in the paper did not have any names with the shots which I found odd. I hope he got paid for them. Whenever I see any of Alex's shots I know they are his, for some reason he has an editing technique that makes his images look different from others. Well done Alex.

Alex's name and Barcroft Media are credited on the website now... maybe someone called them..maybe a random Sun picture editor is subbed to Wetpixel ?? (no pun intended)

Thanks, Steve ! After DPG published small article on Sardine Run I was approached by Barcroft with proposal to run story for newspapers - we wrote article together with reporter, and I was hoping that it is not going to be modified too much, but unfortunately many publications took liberty with Daily Telegraph for instance claiming that this pictures are few days old ! :B):

Well, probably I suspected that it is going to be not smooth - but at the end of day I'm ok with result - tabloids are tabloids, and their function is to spark initial interest. Any reader who will be interested will look beyong newspaper story.

Cheers, Alex
