Hi All

After having just spent the weekend drilling holes and sticking lead shot in an old tripod to use underwater I just heard about :-


Designed for use in salt water !

Anybody tried under water ? and is it any good ?

Camera : Canon 350 D. (8MP, D-SLR, APS-C.)
Housing : Ikelite eTTL hosuing.
Ports : 6" Dome, 8" Dome and Flat port and selection of extenstions.
Lenses : Sigma 10-20mm, 17-70mm Macro, 105mm Macro (with +4 diopter).
Stobes : 2 x Ikelite DS 125.
Arms : Ikelite, 18 inch quick release (LHS) and 8"+6" standard (LHS).
AND a Yellow Box Of Delights to breath from undewater and loads of other really fun stuff.

At 800 in the UK for the Gitzo I think I'll stick with my Gorillapod Focus and Manfrotto phenolic ball head... But thanks for the heads up!

Thanks for the information Richard! But I concur with Tim on this one - it's a bit pricey.
Alltough it would be good to hear has enyone had any experince with this tripod?
