I like the B&W version. Maybe you could give it a little more "snap".

Thanks for all the feedback!
Dave-when you say "snap" what are you thinking of?
As a learning point, up until this particular shoot, I was relying on a fairly "standard" strobe positioning, and not really pulling the strobes in as the subject got closer. I think this is why the seal doesn't have enough light on him.

Not sure, maybe a little more contrast? Something to make the seal stand out more.
