Just got my issue of Photo Life Magazine with their annual photo contest results: Keri Wilk has had his underwater water lily shot come in 4th in the Nature Category. This is a tough competition; well done!

Cheers,
Marli

Nice one Mr. Wilk

Always puts a smile on my face when I hear you're still nailing 'em :)

There's no dignity in diving. Especially as you get older.

Thanks for the head's up and shout out Marli... shamefully, I'm not even subscribed to the magazine, so wouldn't have known it was published if you hadn't said something! :)

And thanks for the kinds words from all of you... here's the photo:

This is a perfect example that you don't have to travel to exotic destinations or shoot the coveted "critter of the month" to take an absolutely stunning and award winning shot. Well done Keri!

Thanks guys! I've got a whole series of lilies/lily pads - strangely, they're some of my most favorite images that I've made to date, and I only had to drive a few hours north from my home to get them.

Am I correct in assuming you'll be at OWU again this year, Karen? Hope to see you there!
