Very pretty models Cal; the last one is the most interesting I think.
Sheez I've had to cancel 2 pool shoots here because it's been so cold my heater won't work; come March though..................

I like the 'sunball', snells window effect of the second photo. The red dress in the third shot really stands out, and I like the composition of the fourth shot.

Nice - not a fan of the purple sunball effect though - make me think back to my D70 days...

hard shot to pull off, though still interesting I think. The sun is hard to compete with, even with strobe balance, also picks up the slightest particulate matter in the water which decreases clarity. The purple could be considered part of the artistic 'effect' or maybe pulled back little in color balance. One also has to watch hands and feet, try to avoid appendages coming towards or away from the camera with WA lenses.

I wasn't knocking it especially - just don't like the purple be it 'artistic' or not.

FWIW I have had better success attacking it's effects in LAB rather than any of the RGB based colour spaces.

To be honest after spending time getting my head around it I prefer LAB over RGB, separation luminosity and colour is a big plus.

Guess other than that the only way would be to shoot on a slightly cloudy or hazy day.

I turned my heat pump on this week and expect it will be up to temperature by next week and then I'll be getting back in.
