Carol and her Manatees win the Nature Conservancy Photography contest. She went up against all those folks on dry land and won the Grand prize.

I'm just stoked that the photo will be in the 2011 calendar (maybe on the front??) Anyway the distribution of that calendar amongst their 1 million members is huge; that's why I entered the contest, to bring attention to save natural spring areas for manatee - especially Three Sisters Spring.
