I guess the question with regard to this post is whether the bet is about the most popular brand for underwater photography or the most popular brand in general.

Im surprised its as close as it is, I expected Nikon to be more than that.

Bet the results two years ago would have been pretty different.

I'm using D80 and change to D90 .......Just for info, at malaysia canon 2nd hand camera and lens is alway more then nikon.

Some people think that i like canon so i have more choice to buy 2nd hand camera or lens.

For me is " why so much canon user sell off they camera????!!!!!???? " hahahaha is up to you to decide the answer

I am using Canon but my heart is for Nikon, forced to settle with Canon 500D due to no AF motor on Nikon D60.

I swicthed system few times for land photography

Canon (EOS3 Film era) -- to -- Nikon Digital (D100, D1x, D2h) --> never regret it
Nikon Digital -- to -- Minolta/Sony (KM7D, Alpha 700) --> biggest regret in my life, even worse when Sony takes over only styles no substance.
Liquidated my Minolta/Sony gear -- to -- Canon 500D with Sea&Sea RDX housing (can't afford aluminium housing) -- happy with the housing, Canon 500D body is ok but I despise the kit lens 18-55 IS look like china made kid toy and very fickle AF motor.
