I can't vouch for the resort but Peleliu is lovely and quiet, maybe too quiet for 2 weeks, a week in Koror would allow you to stretch your legs a bit and sample the local night life.......
If you are into a bit of wreck diving, Koror would give you good access as most of the wrecks are much closer to Koror than Peleliu.

I went the liveaboard route last time and am gonna do land based
next trip with a few days in Peleliu but the word resort isn't on my itinerary. :)

Richard is right, a week in Peleliu is plenty!
The resort is nice with about 8 bungalows on the beach.

Though we did not stay there as we were on a sail boat (http://www.palau-divensail.com) we thought the resort quite nice and quiet. Probably good for a week as it is quiet - for our next trip we decided we would stay there rather Koror. The wrecks around Koror are nice enough though we were spoiled having been to Truk twice. Koror is good for a couple of days but otherwise it did not do much for us. That said it is worth visiting both museums as well as the jail.

One comment regarding live-a-board vs Peleliu - most use a skiff to get you to the dive site. As such I personally see no difference between staying on Peleliu and a live-a-board. The boat rides for the most part will not be that much longer. Certainly not the case with staying in Koror where the rides will be much longer.

One other suggestion seems that many make a stop Yap for a few days. So you might consider a few days in Yap and the rest in Palau. Which is what we have mid for our next trip. Alluded to on our last trip we spent a week in Truk and the two weeks in Palau - diving 11 of those.

Make sure to talk with whoever you go with about your preferences on dive sites. The Agressor does the wrecks at the first of the diving week (the wrecks we have done both trips are in the lagoon area and that is closer to Koror). Then they head down south for the rest of the week. I am assuming since both boats are owned by the same people they will have very similar ways of diving the week there - just different franchises.

BTW - The Dancer is very nice - all new stuff on it. Got to tour it a couple of weeks ago when we were there. They were going out on there first trip in Palau as we were getting done with our week on the Aggressor. They are both moored at the same dock.

Just a note - I think tha Peleliu is more humid than Koror and has lots of bugs. So make sure to bring plenty of bug spray with you. Even the locals on the liveaboard talk about this fact.

Have a great trip - you should not be dissppointed. - DiverPam

Yeah bug spray is a must for Peleliu especially if it rains, the little monsters come out in force then.
