Well, i have been inspired by Kaj and his Lembeh videos so i thought i would start a "daily" Lembeh photo thread :D

not exactly sure if i will update it daily but Daily Photo sounds better than "somewhat daily, more like when i remember and get around to it" as the title to a thread :P

Here you go: A frog fish portrait using a 105mm lens at f13 and 1/30 of a second. The selective lighting comes from me holding my fingers over my YS120 strobe (Single, the strobe, not me) This is an older photo so is with my Nikon D70 and Aquatica housing

Time for some super macro, this is with the 105mm and a 2x TC. Again lit with one strobe and my hand covering most of it to get just a kiss of light on the nudi (Risbecia tryoni for you nudi geeks :P )

Thanks Steve and Karen..

Karen, haha.. well, i guess i am as single as the strobe :)

Here is one from the East side of Lembeh, not too many people have dove there as everyone wants the muck. But East Lembeh is a hidden treasure of healthy hard coral and blue water :(

For today we have:

Damaged but still going strong!
This little cuttlefish is missing half his tentacles, obviously bitten off by a fish of some description. But he still had an attitude!
