hi folks !

I got a jpg of this tiny shrimp from a (well-known) Australian UW photographer

the photo was taken somewhere in Sulawesi

as far as I can see it's an alpheid shrimp, possibly from the genus Athanas or Salmoneus, and is almost certainly a new species

THE COLOUR PATTERN IS VERY DISTINCTIVE ! maybe somebody has seen this species before ?

please remember the colour pattern and try to collect a few specimens next time you are in Sulawesi or Bali
