Continuing to experiment with topside rig and workflow.

How do you smooth a left & right clip pair?
-Turned of steady shot on cameras (feared asynchronous steady movement would look like wobbly eye-balls)
-Did not stabilize source clips (because stabilization would likely not be applied uniformly to left and right clips) - will test this one out.
-Footage was interlaced so had to de-interlace source first
-Synched and coupled clips
-Applied geometry and convergence adjustments
-Exported as anaglyph 3d FCP quicktime file
-Brought back new clip into FCP timeline
-Smoothcam filter on de-interlaced 3d clip
-Render and export again as anaglyph 3d FCP quicktime file
-Compress using Turbo HD

Gotta love 3d workflow

This doesn't really work for me, Shawn. I want the background to be diverged, and it doesn't really seem to be diverged. I think the cameras need to be further apart.

Yeah probably. This clip lacked proximal subjects to make it pop more. I have others that are much more 3D. Just digging through now.
