I was playing around with the video feature on my 7D yesterday, when our resident napoleon wrasse Wally got a little too curious. Note to self, don't get camera so close to Wally when he's looking to play.
Housing is ok, it was just a little tap, although there's now a big scratch on my 8" port that I'll have to buffer out (thank god it's not a glass port!).

Polished the scratches out today, all good.
No lights, just manual white balance in about 6m of water. Guessing it was his reflection that was the problem.

Nice video! Yup, think he ddin't like the handsome face he saw in the dome.
I seldom see big fish in the places that I dive at, so always wary (worry) abt big fish... My cowardice does serve me well...

In 1992, while at Norman Reef near Cairns (I think thats what its called) one of these local Wrasse, decided that my orange gloves were food and attacked my hand, at one point he swallowed my whole hand up past my wrist, scared the crap out of me.

It's always capturing actual behaviors that is the most interesting. I had a Goliath Grouper in Thailand attack my hand as I attempted to pull a stray piece of rope away from the front of my port. Those teeth caused a lot of pain and couldn't shake hands with anyone for weeks. Kept filming though.

Nice video, and amazing fish:) Mount up some lights on 7D and you`ll see how world changes:) I`m aiming for pair of Sola 1200 for my setup!
