The EU Parliament is in the process of signing a declaration demanding an end to shark finning on EU boats. That means 30% of the shark fin supply in the world will be affected. Please take 20 minutes of your time to read our drive to help drive to get the required number of Members of European Parliament to sign on the declaration to pass:

And if you have an extra 8 minutes: please send your feedback to the European Commision Fisheries, which is holding a public consultation on the very issue of banning shark fin with no loopholes in the EU:

Cameras, housings and knowledge is why our community grew, because there's one common element, the ocean, where we use that knowledge and equipment. This is a call to all our community members rally and protect the oceans and its inhabitants, and consequently prove our passion for underwater imagery isn't just about pixels and equipment.

I'm new to underwater photography & wetpixel but one of my passions has always been the ocean & fish. I'm glad to see that people in this community are politically active in trying to save our planet.
