Not a great pic, but I'd like to ID the fish.

looks like the head of a band cheep wrasse, Oxycheilinus digrammus? It should have a red belly and the wrasse/parrotfish straight tail

Thanks very much. None of my books have a picture of this fish, but Allen's Marine Fishes does have a drawing, and it does look that is the fish. The common name he gives for it is "Violet-lined Maori wrasse", aka Cheek-lined wrasse.
