Patima Housing have updated their 3Diver rig, which is a dual setup housing that allows beam-splitter or side by side configurations for underwater use. All controls are manual. The design is almost like a cube and weighs 15kg on land. Obviously with such a big open area, the housing will be positive buoyant (10kg +ve) and is rated to 120m.

Lee was very interesting to chat to about 3D. He pointed out that in 2 years time, 3D will be integrated into every new TV-but there is a signoificant shortage of content. Patima are actually going into 3D film production to specifically address this.

There was a shortage of HD and then RED 4K content when those hypes hit town... I wonder if the streets will be paved with gold 'THIS' time or will there just be more people buying expensive paper weights and holiday camera's ???

It's bloody massive (for the size of the cameras) getting two decent resolution cameras underwater is a game for a big production and multiple people.
