Dear all
I have incidentally bought a Nikonos 103 strobe on Ebay but have since realised that it was recalled in 2001 and replaced with Nikonos 105 strobe. There has only been one mishap (the front portion of the strobe exploding, underwater?) - but from all accounts it was kind of a freakish accident. So my questions are:
(a) is it prudent to use the 103, should I worry (barring another freak accident) - what are the views of people who have used this strobe OR are still using this strobe?
(B) if I wanted to get it exchanged (for the 105 Strobe) what do I have to do? write to Nikon in Japan?
Thoughts will be greatly appreciated.
Kind regards
Paul NG
