I was interviewed by the Nature Conservancy and what's come of it is a very nicely written article and slideshow. It touches on my love of being underwater, manatees, work with stranded marine mammals and my recent run-in with breast cancer; plus a little on how I helped myself through it and back in the water. Hopefully, it might help someone and inspire anyone going through difficult trials to stay positive.

Any article that starts with this quote is written by someone [at the Nature Conservancy] very intuitive and sensitive.
“I want to help our underwater world because it is where I feel most at home.”

Thanks All! It means the world to me to be back in the water.

Hope to see you Alex, but as you know I quietly slip in and out, saving most of my remaining energy and cognitive abilities for the best conditions. I did have a magical time a couple of days ago and Theo said he liked the natural "Rembrant Profile" lighting I was working on. But I don't think it fully applies, as it was much too bright back there for classic Rembrant... I do think the old master would have liked manatees though... They would have sat still for him...
