Wow...what a week. I never realized how intensive Digital Madness would be. Enjoyed every bit of it and ready to start saving for a Red Sea adventure with Alex. I went into the week with several goals in mind - learning more about light underwater and using light better, as well as getting better a close focus wide angle. I never had been able to do CFWA very well - had trouble with the lighting especially. Plus, I got to try other techniques during the week that were lots of fun - like off camera strobes.

Here are a few that I really like, and the rest are on my flickr site www.flickr.com/photos/pammurph
Feedback is welcome.

I learned better how to consider whether or not a shot would be a good B&W this week. This shot is of the Kittiwake just as I was ascending and looked back and it appeared to be in a fog.

I really like this shot - taken on Babylon at the Pinnacle. This is one of my favorite CFWA shots from the week.

And of course, one of many sting ray shots.

Nice images!

I went to his workshop one year ago and learned a LOT. But, in my case, I didn't get to dive the Kittiwake like you did for obvious reasons.

Alex gives a fantastic workshop, every uw photographer should attend at least once, if not more.

Thanks for sharing!

I agree! And now just trying to come up with the justification for another one (and soon) - but harder to do with our son going off to college in the fall. All excuses are welcome (hmm might put a new thread up about that).
