The FAO released their study the fish now supplies 16% of the world's animal protein and 32% of stocks were either overexploited, depleted or recovering. The stocks situation is not improving at all.
My favorite part is that 15% of the observed stock is moderately or under exploited, so FAO thinks there should be some space for exploitation there. Great!
