Hi all,

This coming June I'm hosting a fabulous week-long photo itinerary with the team from Rodney Fox Shark Experience, covering an amazing array of temperate Australia's incredible marine life.

Starting in Whyalla, we will have two dives with the Australian Giant Cuttlefish along a shallow rocky shore where they aggregate in the thousands each winter. It is an AMAZING experience to be part of this unique event that marine scientists from around the world study each year.

Then we head to Port Lincoln and board the vessel Princess II for dives with leafy and weedy sea-dragons, before heading to Hopkins Island for fun and games with playful Australian sea lions.

Then we steam to the famed Neptune Islands for a few days of cage diving with the Winter population of great white sharks. The boat is equipped to shoot both surface-cage action and absolutely spectacular bottom cage dives. The bottom cage dives are epic, the sharks are different characters - in their realm, together with giant smooth rays, eagle rays, western blue grouper, and other endemic species. The images available from the bottom-cage and in mid-water are unique.

Of course we'll also have time to discuss technique and post-processing, as you would expect on a specialised itinerary such as this.
