Hello,

I am trying to breathe some life into some old strobes. However, I am missing an o-ring for the Nikonos SB-104. This is the main body o-ring for the battery compartment (on the strobe, not the one on the battery compartment cap).

Does anyone have one they do not need. Or know where I can buy one?

Alex

Do you know the size? - I have a bag of spare Nikonos o-rings so might be able to help.

Thanks Jim,

It is one of the orange ones - so quite thick. Without the o-ring I cannot give an accurate measurement. Maybe someone with this o-ring can measure theirs!

It is about 15cm in diameter?

Helix supposedly has them at $20 a set.

Helix don't seem to have an overseas shipping option. From their list of 10+ shipping options, only two are not (US only) and neither of these would work with my order. So back to square one.

Any other suggestions?

Hi Bill,

Thank you for the offer of help. I think that is the best solution. If you can calculate the cost of the shipping from you to Europe (they should fit in a normal envelope) - I can send you the amount for the o-ring from Helix, their shipping and then the postage to me - with Paypal.

Probably best to continue this discussion on email - mine is alex(at)amustard.com
