Hi I was wondering if anyone can recommend a store in New York where I can buy a fisheye housing and accessories for a Canon G12? I was dealing with Backscatter but am coming to New York and would prefer to get it in person instead of via the mail.

So these are two questions in one ;-) The store I usually buy stuff with over the internet does have a store in NYC. It's B&H Photo Video and here you'll find it. I have ordered all my housings (Ikelite for a G10, Ikelite for a Canon Vixia HF S100 and Ikelite for my Nikon D90) with them. They have good service (at least over the internet and if you know what you want).
The second question is about the backscatter. This is most likely not a problem of the housing or anything else but the positioning of your strobe. I just wrote an article about that on my website. You'll also find different solutions for your backscatter issue in the same article.

I'm pretty sure Parisi was referring to Backscatter the store.
B&H does not carry any Fisheye housings. They carry the Canon housing and the Ikelite housing for the G12.

I'll throw in another vote for B&H Dante, if you're heading to the big city. Just check on their website to make sure they will be open on the day you plan to visit. Guard your credit card well though, 
if it has anything to do with photography you'll find it there. Lots of shiny bits.
