I am thinking of changing to the Aquatica housing for my S2 and and would therefore need to sell my current Ike housing (the original type). any idea what it would be worth? (UK).
How much is a Ikelite S2 housing worth

Well, in a used housing market, the housing is worth whatever someone will pay for it...:-)
With that said, a good place to start is to pick a percentage of the NEW housing price and charge that. That percentage will depend on demand, and the condition of your housing.

The housing is in A1 condition. I shall probabley look for about 50% - 60% of new cost

Hello,
A friend of mine picked up an Ikelite S2 housing and flat port on E-bay for $500.00 with "buy it now". I thought they could have gotten much more. I think, if you go E-bay, it's worth listing it high and risk losing a few bucks. If it doesn't sell, you can always relist it.
IMHO

List it low with a high reserve price. It seems like the bidding frenzy gets the best of some people. Especially after Fri afternoon cocktails. I will be interested to see the outcome since I intend to sell mine after my Feb trip.

Well I paid USD1000 for the housing, 2 dome, 2 flats, syn cords and some arms. Bought from a fellow wetpixelian with the help from JamesW. I am happy with he price I paid, so yeah, whatever the buyer is willing to pay.

Thanks Ike, but i am finding the housing just too bulky and i prefer the viewer position of the Aquatica. Ideally i would buy a Seacam housing with the S45 viewer but money is just too limited.
But a consolation Ike is that i shall be getting rid of my DS50 and SB102 strobes and getting a pair of DS125.
