I'm confused. Wasn't the Ocean Adventurer sold to Sea Shepherd, and thus left the guys who signed up for their sardine run trip hanging with a wooden boat instead?

Yes it has,these were taken before it joined Sea Shepherd to replace the Ady Gil.

Ah ok. It's a cool boat. I was on it for a party once a few years back. I really wanted it try the piercing wave ride but it was flat on the day.

The sea was pretty flat on the day we went out too but i've heard of it making record times.The boat is fast.
