I have the cigarette lighter version, works fine on planes that have that style adapter. It runs but doesn't charge the batteryBump! no -one?

It may be a little much for airline carry on even though its tiny and super light (3.5lbs) for a monolight AC pack. You'll also lose a bit of efficiency in the back and forth voltage conversion but its a cool way to get a 120AC outlet anywhere.
