For use on the plane etc when you have a lot of time to spare but no power socket or enough battery power in your thin macbook air.

Anyone got one?

I have the cigarette lighter version, works fine on planes that have that style adapter. It runs but doesn't charge the battery

surprised no one has the battery pack that i have actually...gives me 12 hours for less than £150

you could get one of these:

It may be a little much for airline carry on even though its tiny and super light (3.5lbs) for a monolight AC pack. You'll also lose a bit of efficiency in the back and forth voltage conversion but its a cool way to get a 120AC outlet anywhere.
