This really looks like an amazing 'machine'. Hard to see how the D4 can up this camera when it arrives
Nikon D800, Nikon D7000, Nauticam, Inons, Subtronic Novas. Lens collection - 10-17, 15, 16, 16-35, 14-24, 24-70, 85, 18-200, 28-300, 70-200, 60 and 105, TC's. Macs with Aperture and Photoshop.

Well with the woes in Thailand affecting many manufacturers, it may just be that Nikon "skunk" works are heavily delayed as well. Assuming there's no Olympus style books cooking, it'll be interesting to see if smaller companies like Pentax will survive as Sony's cameras roll on.

Well samples from the 1Dx up to 1600ISO look very clean:

Release date for this looks to be set back from March to April-May.

Apparently the 1Dx is now slowly being seeded to pro-shooters ahead of the Olympics... and NO headphone jack! I guess they want people to buy the 5D3 for run and gun. I thought the delay was about adding headphone jacks. I think Canon has made a slight error here since the Nikon D4 has the advantage of coming earlier to the market and NPS is offering switch incentives again!

I heard that Hugyfot are no longer planning a housing for this camera due to lack of interest. Any ideas which manufactures are?

I hear SeaCam is making one. Going for US$7400 excluding VF.
