I need help finding the correct fiber optic cable. I have a YS-110a strobe that I will be connecting to an AD Mount base with a flash block. One end of the cable will need the connector that plugs into the strobe and the other shouldn’t have a connector. The end is slightly striped and pushed through a small bushing. All of the cables I find have two connectors on them and I have no idea if or how the cable can be cut.

The Hugyfot optical adapter also needs one end without any connectors (see the Hugyfot D7000 review for pictures). I did simply cut off one of the Sea & Sea connectors with a sharp knife. Worked perfectly.

You can cut the connectors off with a razor blade.

Thanks, I will just get the Sea and Sea fiber optic cable L-type and cut the end off. The flash deflector all ready has the bushing, I just need to push the stripped end through it and tighten the nut. Is there anything I need to know about stripping off the insulator? Don't want to trash an $80.00 wire over a stupid mistake.
