Is anyone using a Video light for Macro

I was wondering if anyone have used a Light like the SOLA 1200 instead of a Strobe for Macro Shots .... :lol:

It sounds as if you are shooting stills and want to know whether video lights are suitable. Maybe you should post this over in the photo forum here and see what they have to say.

1200 lumens isn't really enough to shoot at f13-16 at a decent shuttter speed and ISO. However, if you want to use bigger apertures, then it should work. It also depend on how close the lights are to the subject.
