I'd always thought that make a web page by myself will be too complicated , until a friend recommend me a company named Photobiz .

Is really easy ( almost fool proof ) not expensive and the images looks great . It had some limitations in terms of the information/images that you can put it in but overall i found it's great . I made my page in less than 3 days , although i had very limited knowledge about it .

If someone wants to make a photo website on his own i recommend this company , their on-line support/customer service is one of the best i ever had.

As an example, here's my webpage address: www.josealejandroalvarez.com

Any critics, comments ,questions will be welcome .

Regards

Fantastic site Jose. Really like the look, layout, and content. Photo's are amazing. The only thing I don't like about the site is it uses flash player, makes it useless for most mobile devices nowadays. But otherwise, I like it.

to echo what steviet said, you're missing out on a significant amount of visitors by using flash. Some people may argue that Android devices are able to view flash (which is true), however the average mobile device visitor is not going to have for a flash website to load at their sluggish mobile data speeds. And although Android devices out number iOS devices in the US, Android users are less likely to use their mobile devices for browsing. I used http://www.pixelpost.org/ to create my site, which was very easy.

all that said, the content of your site is great. you've got some really great shots!!!

Looking great Jose! I really enjoyed going through your images again. That shot with the seven sperm whales in frame is still bloody awesome my friend. :D

Cheers,
Steve

I totally agree . After i made the page , i learned that it's possible to have something like a mirror site ( not sure exactly how it works ) that can be viewed on mobile devices . Although it costs a few more money per month. Maybe i will do it some day
